    About Lunar-Jean

    Hello!

You either found this through me personally or just by browsing Neocities! My name is Lunar-Jean, or Lunar for short.

I have several disabilities, but I still want to persue my bachelors in Entertainment Journalism! I've decided to ignore what limitations I might have to acheieve bigger and better things.

With the mention of ailments, here's a few of them:

    • Ehelers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS)
    • Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS)
    • Fibromyalgia
    • Level 2 Autism

All of these diagnoses can be debilitating; managing all the doctors and appointments along with trying to function as a "normal human being" is exhausting. Even though this is my weight to bear, friends and family let me lean on them for support.

Here are the mobility aids that I may use:

    • Cane
    • Forearm crutches
    • Rollator
    • Wheelchair

Why would I use mobility aids?

When you're in constant debilitating pain, you'd wanna lean on something to walk, too. Using a cane or a wheelchair is comparable to breathing. If it helps me, I use it. Also, staring is rude. Gossiping and laughing because I have to use an aid is childish. Grow up.

    Along with the other ailments,

I have a condition called OSDD 1-b, it falls under the DID umbrella. As stated from DID-Research.org:

"OSDD-1 is the subtype that is most similar to dissociative identity disorder (DID). It is used for individuals who have similar symptoms to those with DID but who do not meet the full diagnostic criteria for DID. Most commonly, this describes individuals who have dissociative parts that are not sufficiently differentiated to qualify as alters (sometimes known as OSDD-1a) or individuals who do not have amnesia between alters (sometimes known as OSDD-1b). Some individuals with OSDD-1 lack both amnesia and highly distinct parts, and other individuals with OSDD-1 have highly distinct parts but rarely or never switch between them. These latter cases are also sometimes described as OSDD-1b."

Mainstream media has skewed the view of what DID and its actuality. The dramatization of it hurts the people who do have it. Even the people who are diagnosed or undiagnosed fakeclaim one another daily, driving some to leave the internet as an extended break or even entirely. Some have supposedly been doxxed over it.

I hope people will realize the stupidity of "fake claiming". Even with evidence, it still harms the person.
